Farmhouse
The building, an old farmhouse, is divided into 6 large apartments, adjacent to an ancient and still active wine cellar. The position of the farmhouse, dominating the surrounding land, allows an enchanting view of the vineyards and olive groves (crops from which our products derive). Among other things, the farm is centrally located with respect to the main Tuscan tourist destinations. In fact it is 40 km from Siena, 25 km from Florence and 30 km from Pisa. It is also located just 15 km from the nearest golf course and only 12 km from the nearest riding stables.
WHO WE ARE
The “La Poggiarella” farmhouse is located on a panoramic hill a few steps from Castelnuovo d'Elsa, a small and pleasant medieval village immersed in the green hills between Florence and Siena.
Our farmhouse is the ideal place to relax and be guided by nature, taking walks among vineyards and olive groves or taking a bath in our large swimming pool from which you can enjoy a beautiful view.
At the end of a day, one of the most beautiful natural spectacles awaits you: the sunset, which you can admire while enjoying a good glass of wine and perhaps using the barbecue available to our guests.

The wines of Poggiarella
l Red wine with a ruby red color with violet reflections, it has an intense, full-bodied but harmonious flavor. The White Wine of pale straw yellow color, with variable intensity and greenish reflections. The perfume is delicate, elegant and velvety-bodied, with a full taste. The golden yellow Vin Santo has an unmistakable aroma, marked by a strong and decisive flavor.

Grappa of Chianti
The Grappa del Chianti "La Poggiarella" is distilled and bottled on behalf of the La Poggiarella Agricultural Company. A careful maturation of a few months in thermo-conditioned warehouses allows to reach a balance between aromas and body in order to excite even the most delicate palates.
